Programs of Study Offered at MEC

As you explore the variety of degree programs offered at MEC Bible College & Educational Center, an extension college of Smith Christian University, you will discover that each Bachelor of Arts degree program has a Biblical Studies Major or Minor coupled with another Major or a Minor. The study of the Scripture becomes the foundation for Christian experience and life. It is the revelation of God to mankind and is authoritative for faith and practice.

Each graduate of MEC Bible College & Educational Center, an extension college of Smith Christian University, should have an understanding of the historical, cultural and religious background of biblical times. Knowledge of God's revelation of Himself and His plan of salvation is fully appreciated through study of the Scripture. In addition, an understanding of orthodox theology and Pentecostal distinctives are important to the completion of the degree program.

Beyond the theoretical understanding of Scripture, it is expected that each student will learn to apply Scriptural truths to everyday living and participate in the worldwide mission of the church.
