It is my distinct honor to welcome you to MEC Bible College & Educational Center, a constituent of Smith Christian University, which is deemed to be one of the greatest institutions for Christian education on this side of Heaven! We are strategically postured to have a tremendous global impact for God's Kingdom, which is driven by our dedication and commitment to developing relevant Christian leaders for ministry and the marketplace.

Our vision is centered around our stated goal of being recognized as an institution that provides Academic Excellence, a Resource Center for our students and citizens of our surrounding communities, and education and development that will allow our students to be Change Agents.

All of our programs have one common theme- to exalt Christ and to present God's truth to you.

Our desire is and always has been a focus from Ecclesiastes 4:12, "A rope of three cords is not quickly broken." That means that at MEC Bible College & Educational Center, we make sure all classes meet your needs in the following:

Spiritual - instructors begin and end classes with prayer and listen to the Holy Spirit for special needs during class. Students are so refreshed by their classes. 

Practical - your instructors are all currently involved in ministry or their areas of teaching. So, that means you are learning from current practitioners, not just someone who has only learned about it without putting it into practice.

Apostle Paul states,
For in Him all things were created both in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities?all things have been created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything. (Colossians 1:16-18)

I would conclude from the above Scripture that Jesus Christ is to be the center of life, speech, values, service, education and social relationships. The world we live in and its present crises are evidence of what happens when education and life are no longer Christ-centered. There is no value-free education, it is all taught from a particular worldview. I believe it is vital for our men and women to be educated from a Christian worldview that prepares them for their careers, vocations, or further education with God's values and purposes in view.
